Whew! Reflecting back on the past month, it has been very busy month indeed. This past week, I spent Monday at Powell High School and volunteered at Ritta Elementary (my grandson's school) on Thursday. On Tuesday, I attended the Compassion Coalition luncheon, the lecture by David Berliner, and the Reach Them to Teach Them event. I attended a meeting on MYP on Thursday, and the Tenure Celebration for Knox County teachers on Thursday evening.
Kathy Sims and her staff did an amazing job with the food, program and decorations for the first tenure celebration! I was honored to be there and congratulate those teachers on all their hard work.
